Toni Collette and Daughter Sage, 16, Dazzle on the Red Carpet: Look Like Twins!
Toni Collette’s daughter looks all grown up as she joins her mom on the red carpet.
On Monday, Oct. 28, the actress stepped out at the red carpet premiere of her new movie Juror #2 alongside her 16-year-old daughter Sage, who she shares with her musician ex-husband, Dave Galafassi. The mother-daughter duo looked like twins as they posed together on the carpet in black maxi dresses.
On her Instagram, the proud mom shared a sweet selfie of the pair at the event. Collette and Sage share a warm smile while gazing with their bright blue eyes and wrapping their arms around one another.
“The premiere of #Juror2movie was so special last night,” she wrote in the caption. “The best part about it was sharing it all with my darling daughter, Sage 🙏🏻❤️.”
Collette and Galafassi also share son Arlo, 13. In 2017, Colette appeared in an episode of PEOPLE’s Mamarazzi, where she revealed that she hadn’t let her children see one of her more famous films because she thought it was too frightening for them at the time
“There’s no way in the world my kids have seen The Sixth Sense,” she said of her then 6-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter, “It would scare the s— out of them.”
Collette was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in the supernatural thriller, which she says her kids will “eventually” see when they get older. “There are very few films my kids can watch that I’ve done!” she joked.
In reality, there’s a decent handful of films that are actually perfect for her kids’ eyes and ears. “I’ve done a couple of animated films, like The Boxtrolls and I did this little Australian animated film called Blinky Bill. My daughter really loves Connie and Carla,” she told PEOPLE.
One film Sage started watching at 9 that may have been better suited for her a few years later? Little Miss Sunshine. “I figure the good parts, she’ll appreciate, and the stuff that’s kind of intense will probably go over her head,” Collette explained.
