Princess Eugenie Marks 6th Anniversary with Husband Jack and Their Two Sons in Heartwarming Family Photo.
Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are celebrating their 6th anniversary with their sons by their side.
In the sweet snap shared via her Instagram Story on Sunday, October 13, Eugenie, 34, and Brooksbank, 38, walked beside sons August, 3, and Ernest, 16 months. “6 years later ..” she wrote over the image.
One day prior, Eugenie also paid tribute to her husband by uploading photos from their wedding day. “Best day ever marrying you.. happy 6th anniversary my love. ❤️❤️❤️❤️💍💒,” she captioned the Saturday, October 12, Instagram post.
After meeting in 2010 at a ski resort in Switzerland, Eugenie and Brooksbank got engaged in January 2018 during a trip to Nicaragua
“The lake was so beautiful. The light was just a special light I had never seen,” Eugenie said in their official engagement interview. “I actually said, ‘This is an incredible moment,’ and then he popped the question, which was really surprising even though we have been together seven years. I was over the moon.”
The twosome tied the knot in 2018 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, England. Two years after their wedding, Eugenie and Brooksbank announced they were expecting their first baby.
“She is incredibly empathetic and will be a great mother,” Sarah Ferguson, Eugenie’s mother, exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2021. “She is a very strong and determined person, always looking for the truth in all she does. Jack and Eugenie are certainly looking forward to sharing the new baby with the whole family.”
Eugenie, who is the youngest daughter of Ferguson and ex-husband Prince Andrew, and Brooksbank welcomed August in February 2021.
Since August came into my life, it’s positively impacted my desire to do more. Priorities change when you have children,” she previously told Hello! in April 2023. “You want to do everything you can for them — and for your grandchildren. August is only 2 [years old] but I hope that what I’m doing will seep through to him and that one day he takes it on, too.”
The couple added their second son, Ernest, to their family in May 2023. Months later, Eugenie gushed that her kids are “so wonderful.”
“Augie is a 2 and a half-year-old firecracker and just listens to me, I don’t know why,” she said during an October 2023 appearance on the “White Wine Question Time” podcast. “And Ernie smiles the whole time so they’re really easy and wonderful boys.”
Eugenie added, “Manners maketh man — I’m trying to do that with my kids right now.”
