Nicole Kidman Channels 1998 in Vintage Dolce & Gabbana Gown and Vampy Lip at the 2024 Gotham Awards
Nicole Kidman just pulled off a major sustainable style flex.
The actress, 57, who was nominated for outstanding lead performance for Babygirl at the 2024 Gotham Awards, wore a hand-painted floral Dolce & Gabbana gown from the label’s fall/winter 1998 collection to the Dec. 2 event in New York City. She teamed the look, style by Jason Bolden, with simple black pumps and minimal jewelry.
Kidman also had a coordinating ’90s makeup moment featuring a vampy wine-colored lip, brown smokey eyes and a straight, center-parted blowout.
Zendaya and Angelina Jolie are among those receiving tributes at the event.
Kidman has had yet another stylish year.
On Nov. 19, she wore another memorable red carpet look at the GQ Men of the Year Awards. Kidman sported an all-red ensemble featuring a long-sleeve turtleneck dress that was form-fitting and floor-length, which she paired with pointed red heels.
The back of the dress added a sultry yet classy touch with a corset that laced up from the top to the bottom of the long gown. Kidman held the long ribbon of the corset in her hands as she posed on the carpet.
The Perfect Couple actress wore a classic glam look with her hair down.
During Paris Fashion Week, Kidman wore a similar all-black ensemble at the Balenciaga womenswear spring/summer 2025 runway show.
Her figure-hugging turtleneck dress featured black ribbon details that fell in a train behind her. She paired the midi-length dress with a pair of black sunglasses, pointy black heels and a black purse.
In November, she dazzled on the red carpet again in a floor-length gown at the Governor’s Awards.
She graced the glamorous affair in an off-the-shoulder, long-sleeve black gown with a bedazzled silver collar detail. At the event, she posed with Demi Moore, who also wore black with some jewel embellishments.
Kidman also coordinated in October with her daughter, Sunday Rose, 16, as they wore sporty, preppy Miu Miu attire to a dinner party for the brand during Paris Fashion Week on Oct. 1.
Kidman rocked a black polo sweater with red accents and a knee-length black and white plaid skirt with black floral details. She paired the look with black leather loafers.
Sunday wore a short-sleeve navy polo sweater with red accents, which she teamed with a black miniskirt. She accessorized with black lace-up boots and a matching handbag.
