In the gushing post their friend Fet Bakare wrote: ‘Whenever you spoke about her, I knew you really loved her. It was very clear from the start, just how deeply you felt for her’.
‘With any and everything you did, you put her first and I learnt a lot from you in that sense and I’m blessed to have seen your relationship blossom and fluorish, To happily ever after for you both’.
Sony music A&R Preye also runs the Strawberries & Creem Festival and is the son of former BBC sports pundit Garth Crooks, 66.
Meanwhile Mabel is the daughter of Swedish singer Neneh Cherry, who has released six studio albums; the first of which, Raw Like Sushi, reached number three in the UK Albums chart.
She has been nominated for a Grammy Award and has two Brit Awards under her belt – and while her daughter Mabel is certainly catching up to her mother, the young singer hasn’t quite reached Neneh’s heights yet.
Her debut single Finders Keepers, released in 2017, reached number eight on the UK Singles Chart.
This was followed up two years later with the release of her album High Expectations at number three in the Albums Chart – which later went platinum.
In 2020, just three years after bursting onto the scene, she won a Brit Award for British Female Solo Artist.

It comes after mother and daughter hosted a Spotify Evening together in London on Monday.
The duo looked to be in high spirits as they posed for snaps before taking to the stage for the event alongside former Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac.
The exclusive Spotify event was to celebrate the launch of Neneh’s new audiobook of her memoir, A Thousand Threads.
Mabel looked effortlessly stylish in plunging green knitted jumper, flashing a peek of her cleavage.
She paired it with a floor-length brown pleated skirt, which featured a thigh-high slit and a black and gold belt.
The singer completed her cosy look with a pair of tights and brown heeled boots, before pulling her hair back into a half-up, half-down style.
She opted for a minimal makeup to showcase her natural beauty as she joined her mother at the event.
Neneh flaunted her own fashionable sense of style as she graced the stage in an oversized black dress paired with tights and leather shoes.
She slicked her hair back into an updo and accessorised with a slew of gold jewellery.
The mother and daughter looked equally proud as they watched each other address the audience, before pulling each other in for a hug.
