Kyle Richards’ RHOBH Costar Sutton Stracke Claims She Tried to ‘Hook Up with Kevin Costner’ in Aspen
Kyle Richards isn’t afraid to shoot her shot with bonafide movie stars, according to Sutton Stracke!
On the Tuesday, Nov. 20 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, Richards’ fellow Housewife Stracke revealed that the reality star once had her eyes set on Yellowstone actor, Kevin Costner, while discussing her rumored romance with Morgan Wade with Garcelle Beauvais and Jennifer Tilly.
“Kyle and I have this conversation, she was in Aspen and Kevin Costner was there. And she was, like, trying to hook up with Kevin Costner,” Stracke claimed as the women laughed.
“This is what I’m saying,” she continued. “I don’t think that Morgan’s the end all, be all because she [Richards] really wanted [him].”
“It’s not all about Morgan, there’s some Kevin Costner mixed in there,” Stracke joked.
Despite Stracke’s story, it does not appear that Costner was even aware of Richards’ alleged hopes to hook up.
Speculation about Richards’ relationship status with the country singer swirled during the past season of RHOBH when Richards and husband Mauricio Umansky separated after 27 years of marriage. Rumors grew even stronger after the two nearly kissed in Wade’s music video in August 2023.
Earlier this month, the Halloween actress, 55, unpacked last year’s season 13 reunion where she revealed she was questioning her sexuality. She also recalled a discussion she had with her four daughters — Farrah Brittany, 36, Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24 and Portia, 16 — and why she decided to address the speculation.
“The fact that there were so many rumors out there, I took that opportunity to have that conversation with my daughters to be able to say to them, ‘Listen, we know what’s being said, but this is where I stand and how I actually feel, and I’m sharing this with you because I’ve always led by example,’” she explained. “For me as a mom, I want my kids to always be able to come to me with the hard conversations and know that they’re going to be loved and accepted no matter what — and they are my best friends.”
Although she was nervous for how her daughters would respond to the conversation, Richards said they couldn’t have received it better.
“The reaction I was met with just blew me away with all four of my daughters, and I felt so loved and so supported,” she recalled. “Just honestly, it is one of my most proud moments as a mom to see their reaction and what they said to me. They just want me to be happy. They’re like, ‘We just want you to be happy and that’s all we care about.’”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo and can be streamed the following day on Peacock.
