The female rapper apologized for her lack of responsibility in the incident where a fan was assaulted when asking to take a photo with her.
On October 12, in a post on her personal page, Jessie spoke up about the fan who was assaulted when asking to take a photo with her. Accordingly, the female rapper apologized to the fans and actively coordinated with relevant parties to find the culprit.
“While meeting an acquaintance, a fan, who was also the victim, came to ask to take a photo with me. However, because it was late at night, I politely refused twice. At that moment, he was attacked by a stranger. Because the situation was so unexpected, I was not considerate of the fan,” Jessi said about the incident.
“Regardless of the circumstances, I am sorry that my fans have suffered such injustice. I feel a great responsibility for not taking timely action. After the incident, my management company and I proactively contacted the victim’s family, helping them quickly find the perpetrator and receive an apology and compensation. The perpetrator will be punished appropriately,” she wrote.
