Jared Leto’s Oscar statuette is safe and sound.

The actor revealed on Instagram Sunday, Dec. 1, that he “Found my Oscar,” sharing photos of himself holding the golden trophy while taking mirror selfies.

Way back in January 2021, Leto said on The Late Late Show with James Corden that his Academy Award had “been missing for three years” by that point. “I didn’t know that. I don’t think anyone wanted to tell me,” he added at the time.

The actor guessed that his Oscar “somehow just magically disappeared” when he moved homes in Los Angeles, adding that “everyone’s searched for it high and low.”

“I hope it’s in good hands wherever it is. We haven’t seen it for quite some time,” Leto added.

Leto, 52, won Best Supporting Actor on March 2, 2014, for his performance as Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club.

In his acceptance speech at the time, the Thirty Seconds to Mars singer thanked his mom, brother and supporters in the industry, while also dedicating his win to “the 36 million people who have lost the battle to AIDS,” honoring the film’s themes.

“And to those of you out there who have ever felt injustice because of who you are or who you love, tonight I stand here in front of the world with you and for you,” he added in his speech. “Thank you so much and goodnight.”

The actor stars in next year’s Disney sequel Tron: Ares, which he previously told PEOPLE at D23 in August will cover “the culture and the technology of the times that we’re living in.”

“I must have seen the first Tron a couple dozen times growing [up]. I loved — I still love — Tron. It was a pleasure when I was researching and kind of developing the character to visit the first film and the second film multiple times, and that was really fun for me as a kid,” he said.

“Putting on the suit was a big deal for me,” he added.
