Jamie Foxx has shared photos from his special ‘One More Chance: An Evening with Jamie Foxx’. The presentation, which will also be released on streaming, promises to explain the reason for the mysterious emergency the actor faced last year.
In April 2023, Foxx was hospitalized and spent 20 days in a coma. He was hospitalized while filming the film ‘Back in Action’, in which he stars alongside Cameron Diaz. The reasons for the need for medical treatment and details of his recovery, which lasted months, have never been released.

The first performances of the special ‘One More Chance: An Evening with Jamie Foxx’ took place in the city of Atlanta, in the US state of Georgia. This Monday (14), he shared some images of the show — which he preferred not to define as a comedy show.
“God is good… As I post these images, my heart and soul are filled with pure joy. On the 3rd, 4th and 5th, I had the opportunity to tell my side of the story,” the celebrity wrote in the caption of the post.

After highlighting that he spent 18 years away from the stage, during which time he dedicated himself to cinema, Foxx explained how he likes to describe his performance: “When people ask me if this is a stand-up comedy show, I say no, that it is an artistic explanation.”
“It’s about something that went incredibly wrong, but thanks to the wonderful people of Atlanta, specifically Piedmont Hospital, I was able to get back on stage and do what I love most,” he continued, citing the hospital where he began his recovery.

Among the photos included by Foxx in the post, one image shows the ‘Django Unchained’ star passing his arm over his face, as if wiping away tears, while holding the microphone with his other hand.
