Diddy’s Controversies Persist: New Developments in Ongoing Legal Issues
Sean “Diddy” Combs faces a new set of allegations. The rap mogul is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl after a party at the 2000 VMAs.
According to Deadline , in a lawsuit filed in New York federal court, Jane Doe (name changed), now 37 years old, said the incident occurred after she went to the bedroom to lie down because she felt dizzy and had a headache due to drinking alcohol at a party on September 7, 2000.
“Shortly thereafter, Combs, accompanied by a male and female celebrity, entered the room. He aggressively approached the plaintiff with a crazed look in his eyes, grabbed her and said, ‘You’re ready to ‘party,'” the 19-page filing reads.
Diddy, then 30, allegedly carried Jane Doe toward another celebrity (let’s call him A – who is said to have undressed the young woman). “Jane was held down and raped by A while Combs and Celebrity B, a woman, stood by and watched. After A, Combs raped Jane while the other two stood by and watched.”
The lawsuit also alleges that Diddy tried to force the victim to perform oral sex, but the victim resisted by hitting the rapper in the neck, forcing Diddy to stop. The victim immediately fled the room and called her father to pick her up.

“After the attack, Jane fell into a severe depression that continued to affect every aspect of her life,” the filing, filed by Texas attorney Tony Buzbee, said.
According to Page Six , attorney Buzbee filed at least five new civil lawsuits against Diddy in the Southern District of New York.
Although the plaintiffs’ names were not released, they were described as two men and three women, including the girl who was 13 years old at the time of the rape at the VMAs.
“We expect to file lawsuits naming Mr. Combs and others each week as we continue to gather evidence and prepare our case,” attorney Buzbee said on NBC News .
Diddy has not yet responded to the new lawsuits.
In early October, Buzbee announced that he was representing 120 individuals in a civil lawsuit accusing Diddy of sex crimes spanning more than three decades. The youngest victim, the attorney revealed, was just nine years old.
