Jay-Z Accused of Sexually Assaulting 13-Year-Old Girl
Jay-Z, the world’s richest rapper, has been named in a lawsuit. Jay-Z’s attorney has not responded.
Jay-Z was accused in a civil lawsuit filed on December 8 (local time) of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000 along with Sean “Diddy” Combs, NBC News reported.
The anonymous accuser, identified only as Jane Doe, said the attack occurred after she was taken to an MTV Video Music Awards after-party. According to her account, Jane Doe was driven by Diddy’s driver to a white house with a U-shaped driveway. She was made to sign what she believed was a non-disclosure agreement about the celebrity-filled party, which was filled with marijuana and cocaine use.
According to the lawsuit, after Jane Doe was served a drink that left her feeling dizzy, Diddy and Jay-Z entered the room and said, “The party is on.”

The original lawsuit, filed in the Southern District of New York in October, listed Diddy as a defendant. The new filing on December 8 also named Beyoncé’s husband.
Alex Spiro, representing Jay-Z’s legal team, and Diddy’s legal team have remained silent on the allegations. Tony Buzbee, the attorney representing 120 victims in lawsuits against the Diddy mogul, has also declined to comment.
According to People , via the entertainment company Roc Nation’s X account, Jay-Z denied the allegations, writing that the lawsuit was “an attempt at extortion,” while criticizing Jane Doe’s attorney, Tony Buzbee.
“What you’re calculating is the false nature of these allegations. The public scrutiny has forced me to speak up, making me want to expose your fraud in a public way. I’m not going to give you a dime,” the rapper said.
Jay-Z added: “The allegations are of such a heinous nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil complaint. Anyone who commits such crimes against minors should be locked up, don’t you agree? The victims deserve justice, if the facts are as stated in the complaint.”
Diddy has repeatedly denied all charges against him , NBC News reported. Federal prosecutors in New York charged the rapper in September with racketeering, sex trafficking and other crimes, and he is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn after being denied bail for the third time. Diddy’s trial is scheduled for May 5.
Prosecutors said they are in the process of bringing more charges against Diddy in a supplemental indictment.
