Warning: This post contains spoilers for season 5, episode 13 of Yellowstone.
The final season of Yellowstone is almost over but there are still plenty of surprises left in store.
In episode 13, there was a cameo from none other than supermodel Bella Hadid as Sadie, the girlfriend of Travis Wheatley, a horse trainer played by show creator Taylor Sheridan.
Hadid, who is an accomplished equestrian herself, makes her first appearance when Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) arrives at Travis’ Texas ranch and Sadie opens the door. “You the masseuse?” the model asks.
Beth quips, “Do I look like a f—ing masseuses?” To which Sadie replies, “A very expensive one.”
Beth traveled to Texas to oversee the horse auction Travis is hosting, only to find him playing strip poker with a large group of people at his house. Beth yells at him to get to the arena to meet wealthy buyers waiting for him.
As Beth settles in to watch Travis in the arena alongside Sadie, she tries to get to the bottom of what Sadie sees in Travis, whom Beth calls “the most arrogant man” she’s ever met.
Sadie says, “You ever seen him ride before?”
After watching him in the ring, Beth replies back, “OK, yeah, I get it.”
Beth was so impressed by Travis’ salesmanship after he sold a horse for $3 million (in part by rigging the process by having his maintenance crew stand in as fake buyers), that she urges him to go to Montana for the auction taking place at Yellowstone ranch the next day.
Sadie makes one more appearance riding a horse during the auction at Yellowstone ranch. Throughout, Sadie’s dressed in full Western gear, including a cowboy hat, ripped white tank, blue jeans with oversize belt buckle and a flannel worn around her waist.
Hadid isn’t the only guest star of the episode. Bart Johnson (Blake Lively’s brother-in-law) attempts to hit on Beth at a bar in town while she’s trying to cheer up Colby’s girlfriend Teeter during a girls night out.
There is also an appearance by the band Turnpike Troubadours who perform during the live auction at the Yellowstone ranch.
Hadid showed off her real-life equestrian skills during the episode, and previously shared on social media that she’s been riding in horse competitions. In a shared Instagram post on November 3 with her boyfriend, professional horseman Adan Banuelos, the caption read, “Bella rode 3 horses and qualified to 7 different finals, bringing home her first CHAMPIONSHIP buckle. We continue to be proud of her in (and out) of the arena ♥️.”
In September, Hadid and Banuelos put on a show in downtown Manhattan when they rode horses outside the premiere of Horse Sense inside a mini ring.
“My love brought Texas to NYC. Lucky me 🍀,” Hadid captioned a post during their rodeo moment in the city.
New episodes of Yellowstone air Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Paramount Network.
