Cardi B is shutting down any rumors that she is financially struggling as she spills about a massive $65M deal she turned down.
Rapper Cardi B isn’t having the ‘broke’ accusations as she fired back at fans speculating she’s financially struggling after promoting a Shein campaign earlier this week.
“People say that I’m surviving off Shein deals and brand deals, wait, hold on,” Cardi said in a voice note shared on X.
“I want to let y’all know I could wake up tomorrow, sign a contract, and have half of $65 million, or half of $70 million, in my bank.”
To silence the critics, Cardi revealed she spends “about $3 million in a month” and posted texts showing she was offered $1 million per show for a $65 million tour deal in September.
“That was in September of this year, not old s—,” she clarified. “And mind you, this my off year by the way.”

Cardi explained why she declined the deal, saying: “I don’t want to take tour deals until I announce my album because when I announce my album, I know they’re going to up it. You have to move smart. You can’t act hungry when you’re not.”
The rapper hasn’t released an album since Invasion of Privacy in 2018 but has teased a new record in recent months.
When Cardi first shared a shout out to Shein, fans wrote: “Girl, you wear Hermes and Chanel, not Shein.“
