Paris Hilton is reflecting on one of the most iconic celebrity moments in Y2K history: the night she went out with Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.

Hilton shared a photo of all three women taken in November 2006 — 18 years ago — on Instagram, writing in the caption: “18 years ago today, this photo became the moment that defined an era. @BritneySpears, @LindsayLohan, and me—the Holy Trinity. Instantly iconic ✨ #LovesIt 💖 #Sliving #Y2K 🚙💋”

In the photo, Hilton can be seen driving her car while Lohan sits in the passenger seat and Spears is squeezed in between the two. At the time it was taken, the image shocked fans, who believed all three were feuding.

Hilton, 43, recounted the events leading up to the iconic paparazzi shot of herself, Spears, 42, and Lohan, 38, in an episode of her This Is Paris podcast, saying that she and Spears had attended a friend’s party at the Beverly Hills Hotel and decided to leave and go home.

As they headed to their car, Lohan — who was in the midst of some “drama” with Hilton — approached.

“All of a sudden, I looked over, and she’s in my car. We weren’t getting along, so I was polite,” Hilton recalled on the podcast. “It was really hard just to even get out of there, because I couldn’t see just with all the cameras.”

Hilton has shared the throwback a number of times in years past, including in 2019, when she recreated the image but with herself, a fake “Queen Elizabeth” sitting in the right-hand seat of the car, where Lohan would have been, and impersonator Derrick Barry filling in for Spears.

In 2023, Hilton also shared two throwback photos of the trio on their infamous night out — along with snapshots of the Bratz dolls made in their likeness.

Last week, Hilton shared another iconic image with Spears, commemorating the moment when “18 years ago today @BritneySpears and I invented the Selfie.”
