Lindsay Lohan Reveals Her ‘Normal’ Daily Routine in Dubai and How It Differs from Life in LA
Lindsay Lohan keeps her day-to-day routine lowkey.
Ahead of the release of her new movie, Our Little Secret, the actress, 38, spoke to Flaunt magazine about her life in Dubai with her husband Badar Shammas and their son Luai.
Not much is different when it comes to Lohan’s life in Dubai. Her day is laid back — she wakes up with her son, she said, and shares breakfast with him before she’s off to pilates or a trip to the park.
“(It’s) the same things that any normal mom would do in their daily life,” she said. “Or you would do in L.A.”
“I think the only difference is the time zone shift,” she continued. “There’s a big disconnect between when work starts for me and other places. I can do my work calls with New York at like three or four … and then L.A. picks up later.”
Lohan moved to Dubai in 2014. She had just left Hollywood for something of a career reset, more focused on her work rather than her personal life.
Though it’s unclear how Lohan met her husband, both she and Shammas had roots in Dubai when they were first seen together in 2020. Last year, they welcomed their son, Luai.
In a March interview with PEOPLE, Lohan opened up about the joys of motherhood. She also revealed that her son’s “new thing” was giving his mother bald spots by ripping her hair out.
As for her holiday plans, Lohan will spend Christmas in the U.S. with her family. But regardless of her location, the actress will have a Christmas tree. This year, with Luai growing, Lohan plans to decorate and see Santa.
“This year, he’s getting bigger, so the holidays are getting more exciting, because we get to share it with our little one,” she said. “It just makes it all the better and all the more special.”
Lohan’s new film Our Little Secret debuts on Netflix on Wednesday, Nov. 27. Freakier Friday, the sequel to fan favorite Freaky Friday, is also in the works, with Lohan starring alongside Jaime Lee Curtis.
