Ariana Madix Shares Her Thoughts on the Vanderpump Rules Season 12 Cast Changes.
Ariana Madix hinted that she’s spent some time processing the news that Vanderpump Rules season 12 will feature a new cast.
“Vanderpump Rules, you will forever be that girl 💖,” Madix, 39, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, November 26, alongside a slideshow of photos from her time on the show over the past decade. “I was up til 4am looking for all the right pics and the right words, but there’s no post or caption that could ever encapsulate everything.”
Madix first appeared on the Bravo series in its inaugural season in 2013 but didn’t become a main cast member until season 3.
“I am forever grateful to have been a part of such an incredible cultural phenomenon. Thank you @bravo, @lisavanderpump, @evolutionmedia for every experience over the last 10+ years,” she continued. “Thank you to every single crew member, producer, and our showrunners. Seeing you guys every summer was like coming home to see family!”
Madix added that she’s going to miss the cast and crew “very much” but plans on keeping the lines of communication open. She encouraged those she had grown close with over the years to “just text” her.
In addition to her appreciation for the show itself, Madix also took a moment to shout out Vanderpump Rules fans who’ve been by her side through thick and thin.
“You’ve been the constant over the last decade, your love and support is what I’ll miss the most about it ending. you made this show what it is,” she wrote. “To the fans who have shown up for us, old and new, it’s all because of you that we are here.”
While saying goodbye to Vanderpump Rules is bittersweet, Madix confessed that she’s excited to see what’s next for her.
“I’m feeling at peace with closing this chapter and I’m excited for everything that is to come,” she wrote. “I don’t know that these were the best days of our lives, but they were definitely something special 💖.”
News broke on Tuesday that Bravo is moving forward with a new cast for Vanderpump Rules season 12. While Lisa Vanderpump will remain on the series, fans will meet a new group of “close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors.”
Production will begin next year. The new cast and the season premiere date will be announced at a later date.
While Vanderpump Rules has been a Bravo staple since its 2013 premiere, the show reached new heights nearly a decade later. After news broke in March 2023 of Madix’s dramatic split from Tom Sandoval, the world was tuned in to catch the aftermath of Sandoval’s affair — dubbed Scandoval — with former costar Rachel Leviss. Despite receiving record ratings, Bravo took a pause before filming season 12 as the cast found themselves divided.
