RHOBH Recap: Dorit Opens Up About ‘Nasty’ Arguments with PK Leading Up to Their Separation.
Dorit Kemsley offered more details about her and estranged husband PK Kemsley’s home life before their separation — and how bad things really got between them.
“The progression of mine and PK’s fighting … this is where [it] really became too toxic,” Dorit, 48, said during The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Tuesday, November 26. “We went from just screaming at one another but not using profanity to cursing at one another to actually having digs that were below the belt.”
Dorit revealed that they would say “really ugly gross things” to each other when they would fight. She also offered examples of things they might have yelled at each other during an argument.
“‘Oh, I hope you rot in hell. I hope you are alone for the rest of your life,’” Dorit recalled. “‘You are going to fall down off your chair drunk because you’re nothing,’ but blah, blah, blah.”
The RHOBH sat down with her estranged husband for one scene filmed at a restaurant where they talked about where things stood between them.
“You’re my best friend and you’re my wife and we don’t speak to each other nicely,” PK, 57, said. “If the server came over and we spoke to the server how we speak to each other, we’d be thrown out of this restaurant.”
He continued, “Of late, it’s like we don’t like each other. I don’t question the love, but we stopped liking each other.”
Dorit and PK announced their separation in May after nine years of marriage. The day they posted their joint statement on social media was filmed for the RHOBH season 14 premiere, which aired last week. (The former couple shares kids Jagger, 10, and Phoenix, 8, who are unaware of Dorit and PK’s separation.)
“When you get into a mood or you’re angry, you cannot snap out of it PK,” Dorit said during Tuesday’s episode. He said they have “deep-rooted resentment” toward each other as they evolved within their marriage.
PK candidly revealed that sometimes Dorit made him feel “less than” in their relationship.
“Which is the last thing in the world I would want to do for you, or I’ve ever felt about you,” Dorit said. PK noted that they “need to give each other space” now.
Dorit said they’re still talking “like five times a day” even amid the separation, something that PK replied would not continue.
While teasing RHOBH season 14 with Us Weekly exclusively, Dorit said that “things don’t stay amicable” between her and PK as the season continues.
“It was a big shock to me,” she explained. “Don’t forget, we had just separated when I filmed the show. Now here we are, some months later.”
Dorit added, “You definitely will see that journey in the season, and that will give you very good insight as to what we’re dealing with.”
