According to Mirror , Victoria Beckham always appears with a serious, cold face and never smiles when taking pictures. Recently, the former Spice Girls member revealed that feeling self-conscious about her skin makes her unable to smile in front of the camera.

Victoria has often spoken openly about her skin problems, particularly her struggles with acne from her teenage years through to her peak in the Spice Girls.

In an interview with The Telegraph , she recalled the uncomfortable moments of the photo shoot. Recently, Victoria was awarded Beauty Brand of the Year, and explained how skincare experts helped her find a solution to the problem.

“Maybe I look serious in many photos, but I actually feel uncomfortable. Because of my skin, I become more careful about what I eat every day,” she said.

To improve the problem, Victoria started a strict diet. Beckham’s wife ate only one meal of grilled fish and steamed vegetables every day for 25 years. In addition, she cut out meat, wheat and many other foods.

After a period of following the new diet, Victoria felt confident enough to step out without makeup, especially when appearing at big events.

“A few years ago, if you told me to walk the red carpet to receive an award with just a little concealer and no foundation, I would have thought that was crazy, but that’s exactly what I did last week,” she shared.

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar , Victoria revealed that both she and David have learned to keep their lives private. Victoria has recently focused on her fashion line, while David has been busy with his soccer club, Inter Miami.

Revealing more about her current lifestyle, Victoria said: “There’s too much going on these days, I’m too busy, too many children to worry about. I wake up at 50 and I don’t care about anything else.”
