Tom Holland Shares Adorable Date Night Photos with Girlfriend Zendaya at a Bar in Boston
Tom Holland is giving fans a glimpse of his casual date night with girlfriend Zendaya as they ventured out to sample the Spiderman star’s new non-alcoholic beer.
On Sunday, Nov. 24, Holland, 28, shared a series of snaps and videos on his Instagram Stories, showing off their outing in Boston as they stopped by the bar Foxhole to sample his brand Bero.
In his first video, the Cherry actor told his followers that he was “heading out to a bar to go and have my first Bero in the wild,” before sharing a photo of Foxhole’s logo.
The next clip showed Holland sipping on his drink and calling out, “First one in the wild, baby!” as Zendaya, presumably from behind the camera, let out an “Ooh!” before panning over to show the can of Bero.
In another post, he snapped a photo of the Challengers actress, also 28, sitting at a table with a Bero in front of her with the caption: “😍😍😍.” She could be seen wearing a red top and a gold necklace, and keeping things casual with a light makeup look and her hair tied back in a bun.
A source told PEOPLE that the pair were also spotted having breakfast together at the Trident Booksellers & Cafe in Boston on Friday, Nov. 22, and an onlooker revealed that they “were very relaxed and very chatty together.”
Holland launched Bero in October, following his public decision to stop drinking in January 2022.
“When I got sober, I started exploring the world of non-alcoholic beers and realized there was space for me to fit in,” Holland told Forbes of developing the brand. “My first year sober was really difficult, and had I had Bero, I think it would have been easier.”
The couple — who first starred together in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming — have been dating for several years, with their first public sighting as a couple taking place in 2021. Since then, they have mostly kept their relationship out of the spotlight but have occasionally opened up about their love for each other.
Earlier this month, Zendaya appeared in Vanity Fair’s annual Hollywood Issue, and spoke about working with Holland over the course of many Spiderman films as well as an upcoming movie from director Christopher Nolan.
Asked if it is “weird” to act opposite her boyfriend, Zendaya replied that it is actually “strangely comfortable.”
“It’s like second nature, if anything. You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside. I love working with him,” she continued.
“He’s so talented and so passionate about what he does. He always gives things one thousand percent, even if he’s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him. It feels pretty normal. That’s how we met. Literally, at a chemistry read,” Zendaya added.
In an interview with Extra at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards in January, Holland revealed that he and Zendaya even rewatch Spider-Man: Homecoming to “relive” that time in their lives.
“Zendaya and I will, every now and then, watch Spider-Man 1 and reminisce about being 19 and making those movies again,” he said. “I love those movies, and I love savoring those moments, so I try not to watch them as often as I would maybe like to because it’s so special. It’s such a luxury, such a gift to be able to sit down and sort of relive your youth.”
