Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been hit with rumors they’re going their separate ways, but a royal expert has said they ‘seem very much together’ in their joint appearance
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have rubbished rumors of a split after they were seen together for the first time in months, according to a royal expert.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been making a number of solo appearances in recent weeks, with Harry having traveled to Vancouver for the Grey Cup. Meanwhile, Meghan stayed in Los Angeles to celebrate the launch of a new haircare line which was co-founded by her close pal Kadi Lee.
Despite their focus on solo projects, the couple came together for a video discussing child online safety. Royal expert Richard Eden said the video seemed to be a deliberate move by the couple to dismiss the notion of a rift.
Speaking on the Daily Mail’s Palace Confidential video, the royal expert added, “I think it’s fair to say that it was a conscious effort to say we’re very much still together as a couple.”
In the clip, Harry and Meghan showcased the work of their Archewell foundation. Meghan stressed the urgency of recognizing the dual-edge of technology, saying, “My husband and I recognise today’s reality is marked by greater connectivity and advanced technology, which of course has many positives, but which also compels us to better understand how digital violence against children is manifesting itself in this age.”
Harry continued, “We are at a crossroads,” before adding, “The urgency to reassess and redefine our approach to protecting children has become increasingly evident. While the necessity has always been apparent, it’s now time to translate that awareness into meaningful action.”
