BlackPink is entering a new era where the members find their own individual colors and shape that personality more clearly in the international music market. The first of them is the youngest member Lisa. Lisa founded her own company called LLOUD and has released 3 consecutive music products: Rockstar, New Woman and Moonlit Floor . Each song has a different style and through that, Lisa proves that she is trying to innovate and challenge herself with many music genres. As the first person to have a solo product and release 3 MVs, Lisa is the member with the most coverage of BlacPink since the group left YG until now.

She performed at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City in late September. Before that, the singer performed at the 2024 MTV VMAs and won the Best K-pop award for her song Rockstar . Jennie released her official solo song Mantra on October 11. On the day of its release, Mantra ranked 5th on Spotify’s Daily Top Song Global chart, breaking Jennie’s own previous record.

It also topped the real-time chart of Bugs, a major domestic music site, and the iTunes Top Songs chart in 57 countries/regions, including the US, Brazil, Singapore, the Philippines, and Mexico, according to Newsis . In particular, Jennie became the first female K-pop soloist to top the US iTunes Top Songs chart this year. The song rose to No. 3 on the Melon chart.

In addition to the results shown in numbers, the message contained in the song is receiving positive reviews from many fans. Jennie released Mantra on International Day of the Girl on October 11 to convey confidence and independence. True to the lyrics, Jennie also shines proudly in her own way on stage.

Rosé released a new solo song just a week after Jennie. Rosé’s new solo digital single APT was released on October 18 and features Bruno Mars. It is one of the songs on the singer’s first full-length solo album, Rosie, which is due out in December. Rosé wrote and composed the song. Pop star Bruno Mars not only collaborated and provided vocals, but also appeared in the music video, helping to draw attention.

The song topped the Melon music site’s TOP 100 chart on October 19, a day after its release, and has been at the top for three consecutive days. In terms of views, APT received more than 83 million views after 4 days of posting, Mantra received 52 million after 11 days and Moonlit Floor was a modest 16.6 million after 13 days.
