One Direction member Niall Horan has recalled his “heartbreaking” final moments with Liam Payne just two weeks before the musician’s sudden death.
“I am truly devastated by the loss of my wonderful friend Liam. It feels unreal,” Horan said in a statement shared to Instagram. “Liam had an infectious energy and passion for his work. He was the brightest person in the room and made everyone feel happy and safe.
“All the laughs we had over the years, sometimes about the simplest things, still come to mind through the sadness. We did our wildest dreams together and I will cherish every moment we had forever. The bond and friendship we had doesn’t happen often in life.”

Payne’s death, according to the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office No. 16, temporarily headed by Marcelo, was “the result of a fall from the balcony of the third-floor room of the hotel in the Buenos Aires area of Palermo where he was staying.” Rome.
According to the autopsy, forensic experts said they found 25 injuries “consistent with those caused by a fall from a height.” They also noted that “the cranial injuries were sufficient to cause death, while internal and external hemorrhages in the skull, chest, abdomen, and extremities contributed to the mechanism of death.”
