According to Mgronline news on October 17, the police confirmed that the 18 people, including the 3 actors, were not detained in the VIP area. There will be separate cells for men and women, inside there will be no beds or mattresses and they will have to sleep on the floor.

“Who has ever seen a prison cell on TV? It’s just like that,” the police told Thai media.

Also according to Mgronline news on October 17, the Central Investigation Bureau (CDC) said that actor and MC Kan Kantathavorn withdrew a total of 1.8 million baht from his personal bank account on October 15, just hours before the Anti-Money Laundering Office issued a temporary order to freeze the actor’s assets for 90 days for investigation.

As for the 18 defendants of the iCon Group network who have been arrested, initially, it is known that this is only the first group of suspects. The police believe that there are many others involved and are continuing to expand the investigation.

Among them, leading actress Min Pechaya holds the position of Director of Corporate Communications. In some previous events, Min Pechaya called herself “boss Min”. This is also the name that many employees in this company call her. In the press conference held on October 15, Min Pechaya affirmed that she only takes on the work of communications and product promotion and is not related to any of the company’s operational plans.
