The singer and stage star has landed a major new acting roleALEXANDRA Burke is engaged to her footballer boyfriend Darren Randolph.

Middlesbrough goalkeeper Darren, 37, got down on one knee during a romantic dinner with Alexandra, 36, three years after they started dating.

Pals said Alexandra was stunned by the surprise proposal, at London’s Rosewood hotel.

A source said: “Alexandra had no idea this was coming and was on cloud nine.

“Darren had gone all out to plan the most special moment for her and it was perfect.

“They couldn’t be happier to start moving towards the next stage of their life together.”

Alexandra and Darren have two children together.

They started dating in April 2021 and have been inseparable.

Alexandra has a busy year ahead, as she prepares to make her on-screen debut as a drama actress.

She stars in Paramount+ crime thriller Curfew with Sarah Parish.
