According to The Independent , Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek had a tense moment at the Balenciaga show, part of Paris Fashion Week. The Australian star reportedly “refused to take a photo together” with the wife of billionaire François-Henri Pinault.

The clip that went viral online shows Hayek placing her hand on Kidman’s hip and asking her colleague to turn to face the camera. However, Kidman pushed Hayek’s hand away and pointed at the actress, saying: “Don’t touch me.”

“The photographer said ‘please ladies’ before asking Kidman and Hayek to pose together. But Kidman did not comply, instead she kissed Perry goodbye and abruptly left the crowd. Before walking away, Kidman and Hayek appeared to have some final tense words,” a source revealed to The Independent .

According to the witness, Kidman said: “I don’t need it”, and Hayek replied: “Yes, okay”.

On social media, many comments criticized Kidman for publicly showing her displeasure and behaving rudely despite being surrounded by dozens of cameras. One person wrote: “The way Nicole pushed Salma’s arm was ugly.” However, another person put themselves in Kidman’s shoes, saying: “I wouldn’t want someone to pull me over to take a photo if I really didn’t want to.”

The clip, filmed at the Spanish brand’s Spring-Summer 2025 show on September 30, is still going viral on showbiz forums. Kidman’s representative has temporarily kept quiet about the rumors.

Previously, after attending the show, Hayek posted a series of photos of the star-studded reunion, including a moment when she stood with Kidman but the Australian star was looking down at the ground. The online community is now flocking to this post to call on Hayek to delete the photo with Kidman.
