Travis Kelce’s Best Friend Shares Post-Chiefs Game Photo, Proving Taylor Swift Is “One of the Boys.”
The “Anti-Hero” singer was spotted in a plaid minidress and knee-high black boots while hanging out with Travis Kelce’s BFF Aric Jones and his friends as she watched her beau and the Kansas City Chiefs’ 26-13 win against the New Orleans Saints on Monday night.
Jones, who founded a lifestyle and clothing brand in 2017, posted an Instagram slideshow featuring photos of Monday’s game and then a group photo revealing men’s shoes in a circle, which included one of Taylor Swift’s black boots.
Swift was wedged between Travis’s black-and-red Nike Air Jordans and his brother Jason Kelce’s gray Air Jordan shoes.
“Taylor’s great. Taylor’s her own woman. And like, if Taylor wants to participate with us on theme nights, of course, we welcome it,” Jones exclusively told Page Six on Oct. 2.
“But at the end of the day, just having her there and having her presence there is awesome. She’s there to cheer on her boyfriend and hang out with us and, to be quite honest, that’s enough.”
Travis and Jones have been friends since they were kindergarteners playing for the same hockey team in Ohio.
The friend group has certain traditions like taking sneaker photos, as seen in the photo with Taylor. This week’s photo was taken by Jones and last week Kelce’s pal Harry Clark uploaded a group sneaker photo.
The couple was pictured getting cozy in an Arrowhead Stadium suite after the Chiefs’ fifth straight win.
That same night, the 14-time Grammy winner appeared enjoying a drink in the Instagram story of Chariah Gordon, the partner of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr.
Gordon asked her how she felt about the team’s fifth straight victory and Swift replied “No, it’s important that you answer the question this time.”
Swift energetically added that the Chiefs are heading “into a bye week” which she claims is “perfect.” Gordon’s video with the singer was filmed in front of a framed picture of Swift at the Eras tour and the singer playful apologized for “photobombing” herself.
Gordon filmed the video in front of a framed picture of Swift at the Era’s tour as the “Cruel Summer” singer playfully apologized for “photobombing” herself.
This was Swift’s third game of the season. Swift visited Arrowhead Stadium during Weeks 1 and 2 but did not attend away games 3 and 4.
Fans speculated her absences hinted at trouble with the couple but a source for Page Six said she’s training for the final leg of the Eras Tour which kicks off in Miami on October 18.
The source added that it’s difficult for her to attend games that aren’t at Arrowhead Stadium, where home games are, due to security concerns. Her safety fears have been heightened since she canceled shows in Vienna after law enforcement learned of a planned terror attack at her concert.
Swift and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes were rumored to have a rift after they sat separately at the Chiefs’ season opener but there didn’t appear to be any “Bad Blood” on Monday.
The ex-NFL QB and “Monday Night Football” analyst Troy Aikman accidentally slipped up while showing Swift celebrating during a second-quarter play saying “The Mrs. likes it.”
“I’m sure I’m in trouble for saying that,” Aikman said when he was reminded that the couple is not married.
